The King's Stroll

Description

The King's Stroll is a small game I created in Java using Slick2D as the final project for my Advanced Graphics Programming class in my senior year of high school. In this game, you play as a king who is going on his morning walk around the town he rules.

The game features a large open map created by me using the Tiled Map Editor and has just under a couple hundred lines of dialogue for when the king interacts with various objects or speaks with the townspeople.

This is the first thing I consider to be a "game" that I made in Java as well as my first experience working with level design and 2D. It doesn't hold up to my standards today but I keep it on this site as I'm proud of what I made given how little prior experience I had in any of the areas I was working with.
